The Stage Centre

Triple threat training in Acting, Singing and Dance - student led with limited student intake to ensure focused development

We believe that theatre training is about more than just performance – it’s about building confidence, resilience, communication, and teamwork, the life skills that will be used forever.

Students are taught and mentored by our exceptional, professional team – all committed to nurturing young talent. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, student-led environment, where every child feels a sense of belonging, is encouraged to be brave, and is empowered to grow both as a performer and as an individual.

Our weekly term time classes are split down in to age specific groups to ensure age appropriate learning, development and progress. Please scroll down for more information on our age groups and class content.

Our students get lots of performance opportunities as part of their training:

  • In-house examination performances

  • External concerts and performances

  • Annual large-scale productions alongside the entire school

  • Professional opportunities through our Associate Agency, Casting Cymru, for those suited to industry work.

Our productions are far beyond the typical stage school show. Held in professional venues, with full production and creative teams, our students experience the demands and joys of live theatre at a professional standard. They also participate in the audition process, learning how roles are cast, how to manage expectations, and how to grow self-belief and resilience – vital skills for both stage and life. Whilst skills development is our main focus, we see performance as an important extension of their weekly classes.

We also offer additional training & exams:

  • 1-to-1 Voice and Acting coaching for students wanting focused development

  • Audition preparation courses and 1:1 sessions

  • LAMDA Acting Examinations

  • Musical Theatre Class Exams
